The Thorpe Distressed Side is a premium chrome tanned full grain leather featuring a buffed, oily pull-up effect. Its surface develops character through use, as scratches and folds reveal lighter tones, creating a unique and evolving patina.
With its medium temper and low stretch, this side is easy to work with while maintaining strength and durability. The dull matt finish enhances its antique, worn-in look, making it especially popular for rugged and vintage-style projects.
Each hide provides a large surface area, averaging 20 sq ft, with a consistent 2–2.5mm thickness that balances flexibility and firmness.
