Description
Le-Tech Craft Line Leather Burnishing Gum is a water-based, low V.O.C. natural transparent gum based edge burnishing compound for use on natural or coloured vegetable tanned leather.
It produces a professional looking smooth and shiny burnished edge.
Supplied in a 100ml jar, this is an efficient finishing product for edges and the flesh side of leather.
– Easy to work with.

– Dries quickly.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For best results, round off the edge of the leather with an edge beveller prior to application.
Apply a thin coat of Burnishing Gum to the bevelled edge with a wool dauber, cloth or slightly damp sponge.
Rub the edge briskly with an edge slicker, bone folder or piece of canvas.
As the Burnishing Gum dries and heats up due to friction caused by rubbing, the treated edge will darken and shine.
Repeat until desired level of burnishing is achieved.
Use caution when applying Burnishing Gum on leather that is to be stained, antiqued or dyed, as it may resist or block penetration of some colour.

A signature is required in most cases, so please ensure someone is available to sign for, and accept delivery.
Parcels returned to us due to non delivery will be subject to additional charges payable by the customer.
Parcels cannot usually be left in secure locations and there is no guarantee delivery drivers will respond to individual requests.
We cannot be held responsible, or accept any compensation claim for failed, delayed or non delivery of parcels, and although most orders are delivered next day to UK mainland, the service is not guaranteed, so please always allow slightly longer.
